How to make Techno

hi im a newbie thinking of making techno music.

I wondering what i should download to make techno on my computer.

if youre new to actually making techno, then i would suggest Fuity Loops, one of the more early versions. It's a easy to use program, the user interface is really nice, and its just all around sweet. Theres various tutorials around online for it also, but just messing around with it will teach you a lot also...but use the tutorials before you break your computer. Oh, and if you have a keyboard (like the piano kind, not typing) and a MIDI cable, plug that into your computer, it makes using the program a lot easier.

It costs alot to make music. FL Studio (aka Fruityloops) is the software I mainly use. I also use Propellerheads Reason, Propellerheads ReBirth RB-338, and Mad Tracker. If you want to find a good software, you will have to pay for it. Free ones normally are not that good.

I found: Flexi Music Composer

I'm a newbie as well and I think this software is really cool. Easy to learn how to use (i.e. a couple of hours) and you'll be done with your first piece of awesome music. I will probably buy the full version for just 20 bucks. I heard FruityLoops is a great software but it's just out of my budget for the moment. Besides, I don't have a lot of time to devote to this hobby.

If people want to start making techno music i'd say download the demos of any program you are thinking about buying and test it first. Some recording programs are harder to use than others. Also hit up all the sample sites for free beats and music production samples.

The software I use for making techno is DubTurbo 2.0. They also have a VSTi version, but if you are just beginning I would suggest the 2.0 version. You can pretty much do any kind of remixing and music creation you want with it. It is not too pricey either. There are some articles on www.remixmakerhq.com
