DEEP MARIANO vs.CPM - 2002 EP incl. Sasha & Digweed's favourite "Plattenbau" finally sees the light out....

Release info:

ARTIST: Deep Mariano vs. CPM
TITLE: 2002 EP
TRACKS: A. Plattenbau B. 2002
LABEL: SNEJL
CAT NO: Snejl003
RELEASE DATE: 27th of March

Written and produced by : Mariano Perez & Christian Pablo Malloni
Mastering : Christian Cambas
Published by : Killing Game Music ( BMI )

Press release:

"SNEJL is back with some twisted material coming from Argentina’s well respected Deep Mariano and CPM.
“Plattenbau” has quite an imaginative, down tempo bassline and although it might sound raw it certainly is very polished, building itself into an epic anthem.
On the flip, “2002” gives a more rougher note to the whole EP, using warped acid sequences as well as the use of their own vocals in a downwarded spiral .

Early support comes already from : Sasha, Laurent Garnier, Kruder & Dorfmeister, The Timewriter, Chris Fortier, Col Hamilton, Fafa Monteco, Sebastian Roya, Kasey Taylor , Anil Chawla, Markus Guentner , Dave Mothersole, Jeff Bennett ,etc."

IDJ Magazine review:

FEEDBACK :

Andrew Grant (Circo Loco): Plattenbau fckn kills 9/10!!
Laurent Garnier: i like the first track will play this out
Jamie Odell - Jimpster / Freerange / The Bays : Really like the beats on plattenbau!
Sasha : am playing this!
Col Hamilton - Lush: Plattenbau is a stunning track exactly the sound i play! this will rok @ lush!
Renato Figoli - Trapez / Traum: another fresh sounding release from snejl, which is getting better and better. my favourite track is 2002.
Ryan Ashmore - The End: Plattenbau is quality - good tough tune. Not so keen on 2002 vocal but the track is cool. Thanks.
Peter Kruder - Kruder & Dorfmeister / K7: Dig the 2002 Tune.
Frank Cochois - The Timewriter: this track is different. i love it.
Lee Mortimer - Front Room / Warehouse: I like Plattenbau, it's gets pretty nasty.
Ray Raysoo - /Love International/Raum: Plattenbau is my pick here. nice fat sounds and a good blend of minimal/ progressive vibes.
quality!
Fra Soler Ferenc - / Kompakt / Nitsa Club: both are really groovy! like the vocal and instrumental. Total support!
Kasey Taylor - Vapour: Plattenbau is the pick of the two
Oscar - lordag records / confused / karateklub: Plattenbau sounds pretty cool...will play!
Sarah Main - Pacha (Ibiza) / Pacha Show (Galaxy FM): nice and deep, good groove!
Philip Sherburne - Earplug / EMusic / Urge / Pitchfork / Slate"Plattenbau" left me a little indifferent -- it's nice but doesn't feel strong enough to really stand out from the pack. I like the poppy feel of "2002"; the vox are a nice touch. I still don't think the melodic/harmonic aspect is quite developed enough to grab my attention but that track is a little more in the direction that appeals to me...
Terje & Anders - Lordag: plattenbau is good. we like SNEJL
Sebbo (DJ) - Liebe*Detail: like the trax played it last weekend, phat on the floor
Sebastian Roya - Conaisseur / Sender / Sounderground: Nice music always of Mariano and Cpm, my favorite track is plattenbau
Gary Wilson Zimbardo - / Distrakt/IDJ (Tribal & Twisted Reviews): Crackin tech house here! Particularily love the sounds of 2002.. nice!!
Dave Mothersole - MOS Radio: good tracks. cheers, dave
Jeff Bennet - Plastic City: Plattenbau is the one for me, nice positive track, will play!
Brian Ffar - Siteholder / Tic Tac Toe / Gourmet / Redline Sessions: I really like Plattenbau! It has a pop type of sound, but still remains credible underground in my opinion. I will definitely play this.
Bruce Tantum - Time Out New York: Another nice one! Both tracks are quite jacking. but with a hint of melodic flair to them, a far too rare combo in techno, sadly. I'll definitely be playing these often.
Liz Cirelli - Miss Deckstress / House FM: Really, really liking this release - the chord progressions are so gorgeously haunting
Anil Chawla - Saved: This is a wicked EP - Plattenbau in particular is excellent, thank you.
Markus Guentner - Kompakt / Warea freakin' good melodic techno ep ...
very sweet grooves and basses but always cool sound above for the right 'drive' ....
Nico De Ceglia - Radio 1/Discoid mag/Codex : Good!
Mark Henning - Found Sounds / Trapez / Mos Ferry: Plattenbau is a great summer tune - will play it then!
Chris Fortier: both cool. good to hear their continued direction musically
Nils Lausund - Nils Noa / Lot49: really like this release. will def be playing it!
